(Don't forget your 10% Guild Members Discount at The Stamp Bug!

Tools Required:

Double Diamond

curls 2

  1. Make a standard C6 card from the maize card in your kit.
  2. Swipe the orange and terracotta Paint Dabbers up and down the front of the folded maize card and dry with the heat tool.

    curls 3

  3. Sponge some of the Tea Dye ink all over the top of the paint. The paint will resist the ink and give a nice background effect. Overstamp with the Curly Star stamp.
  4. Stamp and gold emboss the Curly Square, once on to maize card and once on to terracotta card. Cut out the images, trimming the outer edges of the maize one, to leave the centre portion only.

    curls 4

  5. Dip the terracotta square into embossing ink and gold emboss the edges. Then sponge some tea dye ink on the smaller maize one.

  6. Layer up the two panels, using sticky foam, and stick on to the card.

Textured Panel

curls 4

  1. Cut a panel of yellow card and dab it with terracotta and orange paint. Don’t cover all of the yellow card – leave some spaces.
  2. Sponge over this paint with Tea Dye ink, then sprinkle a tiny amount of gold embossing powder on top. Heat set to melt the embossing powder and to dry the paint.
  3. Stamp the Dots on to the panel using the terracotta paint. Clean off the stamp as soon as you have finished so it doesn’t dry on the rubber.
  4. Dry the panel again and add some gold embossing powder around the edges. Mount this on to a Pearlescent Ivory card panel.

    curls 5
  5. Tear a strip of mulberry paper and stamp it with Dots, using terracotta paint. Dry the paint and then re stamp the Dots with Tea dye ink and gold emboss.
  6. Stick the mulberry paper onto the card and add the layered panel.

Small Square

curls 12

  1. Make a 10cm square card from the Pearlescent Ivory card. Cut a yellow panel to fit in the middle.
  2. Decorate the panel with various stamp images and the Tea Dye ink.
  3. Add Paint Dabbers and gold embossing powder. Heat to set/dry.
  4. Cut a square of card approximately the size of the square stamp image. Cover the card with Tea Dye ink and heat set with three layers of gold embossing powder.
  5. Before applying the last layer, ink up the square stamp and have it ready. Heat up the last layer of embossing powder and immediately place the stamp in it.
  6. Leave to cool, then remove the stamp. Finally glue the panel in the centre of the main card.

Mulberry Montage

curls 6

  1. Make a tall card from half of the A4 sheet of natural hammered card. Decorate with the various stamp images and Tea Dye ink.
  2. Tear a rectangle of mulberry paper and decorate with the stamp images and Tea Dye ink. Heat set with gold embossing powder.
  3. Dab with the different colours of paint, allow to dry, then stick on to the card.

ATCs

curls 7

Use up all of your spare bits and pieces to make these great ATCs.

curls 8

  1. Start by cutting the spare card into ATC sized pieces - 64 x 89 mm (2.5 x 3.5 inches). Swipe a terracotta background with paint, then sponge over Tea Dye ink. Stamp and emboss an image down one side. Stamp the square on to yellow card, and tear round the image. Sponge with ink and add orange paint round the edges. Stick the square on to the ATC and trim the edges.

    curls 9

  2. Stamp and gold emboss the images on to a terracotta background. Add a torn strip of Mulberry paper. Stamp and gold emboss the image three times and sponge with Tea Dye ink. Stick on to the ATC.

    curls 10

  3. Gold emboss images on to a yellow background. Dab paints over the top, and dry. Stamp long image on to yellow card and tear in half. Stick both pieces on to the ATC and trim edges.
