This month’s free stamp plate includes an identifying stamp for your ATCs or other projects for friends. Simply stamp it, sign it and send it. There are also a couple of words, some corners and a swirly image, which is great for using around edges, or as a focal point. We’ve also put together a kit so that you can start using it straightaway.

If you joined the SSP Guild after February, and therefore don’t have these last three plates of stamps, they are available to buy.

Now for the ATCs

ATC 1

Step by Step:

1. Ink up the ART and ATC word stamps, with the Rosebud ink. Stamp a cream ATC card several times with both words.
   
   
2. Sponge the edges of the cream ATC with the Dusty Pink Le Plume pen, adding it to a sponge first.
   
   
3. Sponge some more ink around the card, over the stamped words.
4. Stamp and silver emboss the Key image on to a pink ATC card, cut out the image and sponge some more ink around the edges. Layer it onto a lilac ATC, trim to leave a narrow border all round, then mount on to the prepared background, as shown.

ATC 2

Step by Step:

1. Stamp two Corner images on to a red TC in black ink. Stamp ‘Art’ and ‘ATC’ between the two, also in black ink. Heat emboss with Pearlescent Violet embossing powder.
2. Stamp the central Swirly image in black ink on to a cream ATC. Heat emboss with Violet embossing powder, then tear around the image.
3. Sponge some colour from the Pale Violet Le Plume pen to the torn edges. When dry, add a little embossing ink to the same edges and heat set with the Violet embossing powder.
4. Attach the torn panel to the red ATC with silver eyelets.

ATC 3

Step by Step:

1. Stamp and silver emboss the large Heart, from the Treasured Heart plate, on to a pink ATC. Stamp two Corners diagonally opposite each other, using the Pale Violet Le Plume pen.
2. Stamp the Heart on to a cream ATC, using embossing ink, and heat set with the Violet embossing powder. Cut out just the central heart. Scribble some of the Dusty Pink Le Plume pen on to a palette and pick up the colour with a damp paintbrush. Apply to the cut out heart, as if it were a watercolour paint.
3. Stamp and silver emboss the word ‘Art’ on to a piece of pink vellum. Tear out the word and fix to the ATC with eyelets. Add the watercoloured heart, using sticky foam pads.

ATC 4

Step by Step:

1. Stamp the Swirly image around the edges of a cream ATC, using the Plum Le Plume pen.
2. Stamp the ‘Just For You’ image on to a pink ATC, using black ink. Stamp again on to pink vellum, using embossing ink, and heat set with Violet embossing powder.
3. Cut out a portion of the image on the vellum and position it over the black image; trim the black image to fit. Fix the vellum to the black image with eyelets.
4. Layer this panel on to two different shade of pink ATCs, with sticky foam pads, and trim.
5. Add the layered panels to the prepared background.
6. Write your name and the date on the vellum top layer.

ATC5

Step by Step:

1. Stamp two Corners in black ink on to a pink ATC, placing them in diagonally opposite corners..
2. Sponge the ATC with the Lulu Lavender ink – you don’t have to cover all of it, just parts. Sprinkle with the Violet embossing powder, then turn the card over and flick the back to remove the excess embossing powder. Heat to melt.
3. Stamp the Swirly image on to the edges of a strip of torn lilac card and heat emboss the edges with silver embossing powder.
4. Stamp and silver emboss the word ART twice on to two pieces of torn lilac card. Swipe the edges with the Lavender ink and add Violet embossing powder. Heat to melt.
5. Stick the words on as shown and add the torn edge strip across the middle, securing it in place with eyelets.

ATC 6

Step by Step:

1. Cut an ATC sized piece of black card and stamp it with three Flowers, from the Flower Power plate, on to a black ATC, with embossing ink and heat set with Violet embossing powder.
2. Stamp the word ‘Flower’ three times, also in embossing ink and heat set with silver embossing powder.
3. Dip the edges of the ATC into embossing ink and then into silver embossing powder. Heat set.
4. Stamp and emboss two flowers on to a pale pink ATC. Cut out and watercolour the centres with the Plum Le Plume pen, using the same technique as in ATC 3.
   
   
5. Affix to the ATC with sticky foam pads.

ATC 7

Step by Step:

1. Stamp the Swirly image around the edges of a pink ATC, using black ink. Heat set with Violet embossing powder.
2. Tear a strip of pink vellum and stamp the same image again on it with embossing ink, then heat set with violet embossing powder. Affix to the ATC with eyelets.
3. Stamp and emboss the word ‘ART’ twice on to pink card using black ink and Violet embossing powder.
   
   
4. Cut out the two words and add to the ATC with sticky foam pads.

ATC 8

Step by Step:

1. Stamp the ‘Just For You’ Image on to a lilac ATC, in black ink, and then heat emboss with Violet embossing powder. Cut out the central portion and watercolour as before with the three Le Plume pens.
2. Layer it on to pink card.
3. Cut an ATC sized piece of black card and stamp two Corners on to it, using embossing ink. Heat set with Violet embossing powder. Emboss the ATC edges as before.
4. Mount the layered panel on to the black ATC with sticky foam pads.
5. Add eyelets top and bottom.

ATC 9

Step by Step:

1. Sponge a white ATC with the Lavender and Rosebud inks. Sprinkle with Violet embossing powder and tap off the excess.
   
   
2. Using a dry paintbrush, brush ‘pathways’ in the embossing powder, and gently blow to remove excess powder. Heat to melt the powder.
   
   
3. Now sponge over some more of the inks, paying particular attention to the parts that have had the embossing powder removed. Stamp and silver emboss the word ‘Art’, as shown.
   
   
4. Stamp and emboss the Swirl image on to a black ATC. Cut out the image and mount on to a piece of pink card.
   
   
5. Tear diagonally along the sides and mount on to a piece of cream card. Tear the sides of the cream card to match. Sponge some Rosebud ink along the torn edges.
6. Mount on to the prepared background and add some eyelets.

Now all you need to do is swap some of your ATCs with others!
