Snow Had Fallen 1

Blue and white is a beautiful colour scheme for your Christmas cards and these ones can be made in quick time for those last minute makes.

Add some silver embossing and a little silver ribbon and you are well on your way to some very stylish cards!

We used:

Snow Had Fallen

Snow Had Fallen 2

Step by Step:

  1. Cut the blue card to measure 15 x 21cm, then fold it in half to give you the main card.
  2. Using VersaMark, stamp and white emboss the Snow Strands onto the front of the card. White emboss the Snow Had Fallen image onto blue card. Cut out the Snow Had Fallen to give a panel measuring 13 x 4.5cm and mount onto silver Mirri card.
  3. Apply a strip of silver ribbon to 4cm from the bottom of the main card and mount the matted verse over the top, offset to the left a little.

Snow Had Fallen on Embossed Snow Flake Card

Snow Had Fallen 3

Step by Step:

  1. Cut a piece of Pearlescent white card to measure 15 x 21cm. Fold in half to form the main card.
  2. Emboss the inside back page of this folded white card with the Snowflake embossing folder, by running it through the Cuttlebug machine.
  3. Fold the front of the card back onto itself to give a zig zag effect when open.
  4. Using VersaMark and silver embossing powder stamp and emboss the verse onto blue card. Cut out to give a14 x 4cm oblong to fit the pearlescent card front. Attach the panel to the card using double-sided tape.

Snowy Trees

Snow Had Fallen 5
  1. Cut a piece of pearlescent white card to measure 15 x 21cm. Fold in half to form the main card.
  2. Cut a piece of blue card to fit just inside the front of a folded A6 white pearlescent card. Emboss with Snowflake folder and the Cuttlebug machine, mount to the front of the card.
  3. Take the silver VersaColor ink cube and swipe it gently over the embossed snowflakes to highlight them.
  4. Using VersaMark and silver embossing powder, stamp and emboss two of the Snowy Tree images onto white hammered card. Cut them out and stick to onto the embossed card as shown. For added depth you could attach them with sticky foam pads, although these have been attached with double-sided tape. ssp
