This is a lovely way to send your Christmas photographs to family and friends. It also makes a great ‘brag’ book with photos of grandchildren or children, for grandma or mum to keep in their bag!
We used:
1 sheet 12x12 Double-sided Card
Matching Plain Card - cut and folded to slightly larger than an A6 card
Ribbon
Die Cut Flower and Leaf Shapes - cut from card scraps and made up into two floral embellishments.
Double-sided Scraps
Photographs of Choice
N.B. all measurements are in inches
Step by Step:
From the 12x12 sheet, cut two 4 x 12 inch strips and fold each strip to form three 4 x 4 inch squares. Lay flat and fold top left-hand corner of left-hand square down to form a triangle and cut along fold. Do the same with the right-hand square but folding the top right-hand corner down to form the triangle.
From the remainder of the 12x12, cut a piece to measure 4 x 6 inches and run a piece of double-sided tape along the top and bottom. Run double-sided tape along the bottom of the middle 4 x 4 inch square of the strip that is to be used for the top.
Stick centre top of folded strip to top of 4 x 6 oblong and the centre bottom of the remaining folded strip to the bottom of the oblong.
Apply ribbon trim to top of each triangle and then fold right-hand triangle over the centre square at the top and secure with double-sided tape along the bottom. Do the same with the left-hand triangle.
Repeat for bottom strip.
Apply double-sided sticky tape to the back of the oblong and stick into the A6 card.
Glue a flower shape to the bottom triangle fold and another flower shape to the front of the card towards the top right.
Cut a triangular shape from the remains of the 12x12 sheet and glue to the front cover to form a pocket.
From scraps of matching card, cut 5 ATC cards to use as a backing for your photographs. The pictures can then be inserted in the front pocket and to the pockets inside.
